May was a very quiet month for severe weather in the Omaha area. Other than May 1st, storm chasing opportunities were very scarce with the city only getting a few hail storms and light thunderstorms. Since 2018 is a La Nina year in the United States, I expect the month of June to bring several days of severe weather for chasing opportunities.
